She basically inherited 4 years of extremely flawed QB work, countless accounting mistakes in/ out of the QB program ( tax return related ), and a business owner that was ready to throw in the towel because I could not find a competent accountant to resolve my many accounting/ QB issues. While assisting with our QB issues, I shared with Mindi that I was in the midst of a 2 year long IRS audit with no clear end in sight. She kindly took it upon herself to refer me to one of her colleagues and they collectively wrapped up my 09’ – 13’ presentation for the IRS in 6 weeks. Mindi and her colleague accomplished more in 6 weeks (actually completing the daunting task), than two other accounting firms accomplished in two + years. Mindi deserves the bulk of the credit for this efficient work, as she labored around the clock to meet the IRS deadline. Not only was she incredibly efficient, she was meticulous in making sure that everything was accurate (and defendable) should the IRS choose to refute her work. Mindi has a unique skill set in that she is a QB specialist ( “specialist” does not properly encompass her knowledge of this accounting program ), and she is an exceptional C.P.A.. These skills coupled with her passion for doing right by her customers makes her an outstanding human being in my eyes. She actually cares about her clients – and that is a rarity nowadays.
